Cakes
Normally I make three types of cakes for the following decorated cakes:
1. Sponge cake ( I make the sponge cakes from scratch, meaning I do not use a mix.)
2. Chocolate moist cake
3. Pound cake/Butter cake ( the flavour may vary according to what you prefer and what I have available)
Please note that I use only butter for the cakes. However, due to our humid and hot temperature, I do use shortening in the icing. The amount of shortening never exceeds the amount of butter used in the icing.
I can use all butter if the clients requests it, but the cake will only stand well, if kept in an air-conditioned area at all times.
The illustrations on the cakes are drawn using chocolate and pipping jelly, which is inclusive of the cake price. If you like to use the printed sugar sheets or additional miniature models on top of the cake, there will be additional costs to the cake. The cake price includes, candles (up to 10) and a plastic knife.
The following cakes measure 9″ x 12″ rectangle:
The following cakes measure 8″ diameter round.
The following cakes are 9″ square.
The following cakes are different than the above.
This cake is a light fruit cake covered with fondant.
